Life has been sooo crazy! Lots of papers, readings, and research occupy my time these days. Unfortunately my blog has been on the back burner... but that should change since the end of the school year is in sight, the light at the end of the tunnel!

I have been loving the home collection items at Anthropologie lately. I love just about everything, which is great for me, but not so great for my wallet. Above are some of my favorites: the ikat bowls, the numbered cups, and the Pennycress Plates.

Amazing. I am totally in love.

I adore yoyos, and I love the way these necklaces and headbands are so bold, yet the colors are so soft and summery. Dreamy. I want to try and craft something similar and embellish one of my dresses or shirts. Maybe I'll break out the sewing supplies this weekend. Gives me something to look forward to after the school week-- (this could also be the excuse you've been waiting for-- go ahead, block out some creative time :)

Coming from a family of 9 kids with 3 of her own, Julie explores the issues of the domestic in her photographs and captures the reality of everyday life. Playing on my record today...

I am so busy today! But not for school reasons-- something much better. My new baby niece was born early this morning! Hooray! A new little something to hold, I can't wait :)
