D.C. Part One

Hello friends! It is such lovely weather outside today! I am glad that we are finally in the clear from all of the rain we have been getting lately. I spent the afternoon outside eating lunch and looking at some of my old magazines while I listened to music. I love lazy afternoons.
.
I thought I would share some pictures from our D.C. trip:
.
This was in the historic part of Alexandria. We visited the docks first.
.

This is a shot of the historic streets. They are so cute!
.
This was inside of Paper Source. I wanted to take all of this gorgeous paper home with me! This was part of their new line of Japanese paper.

This is the black and white checkered floor in the vintage ice cream shop we stopped in. Nothing better to cool you off than Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream.
.
Have a good Tuesday! More later...
.

Ooooh water, I miss water. Living in Boston it's so easy to get to beautiful clean wild beaches. In NYC, not so much.
