Whoopie!

Weekend, I am so glad that you have finally arrived. Please don't leave too fast, I am way too tired to start another week right now.
.
P.S I would love to make these Red Velvet Whoopie Pie's from Williams-Sonomo and eat them with a huge glass of milk.

Home of Kate Spade

I have always been a huge fan of the Kate Spade line and when I stumbled upon Kate Spade's Park Avenue apartment that she shares with her husband Andy, I was beyond excited. Featured in the 2007 issue of Town and Country, this home screams style.
.
I especially love the striped wallpaper in the entry and the variety of collected frames throughout the home.
.
Hope you enjoy!

Green with Envy

I envy their style. I especially love the small doses of green used throughout the outfits.

Have a good weekend! I have no major plans...but that is one of the things I love about weekends. Don't you?

A Home in the Hamptons

This Hamptons home featured in the January Elle Decor magazine was designed by Steven Gambrel as a fabulous weekend retreat. I must say I fell in love with this home the moment I saw it. I especially love the hall framed with scarlet red frames. Don't you?
.
Head over and see the rest of the home tour...the rest of the rooms really are drool worthy.

Organized Chaos

Don't you love this desk? I love how chaotic it is...so inspiring and creative. I would love to re-create something like this.
.
What does your desk area like? Is it chaotic like this or organized?

Love for Haiti

Lindsey over at Great Full Day blogged about Becki, of The Rusted Chain, who has created a "Blessed" necklace in honor of those that are suffering in Haiti. Ten dollars from the sale of each necklace will be donated to Compassion, to aid in disaster relief. What a great way to donate your money. If you are interested in purchasing the necklace click here.

May everyone's thoughts and prayers be with those that are suffering the devastating affects of the earthquake that struck the people of Haiti.

Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Let Them Eat Cake

A few weeks ago I stumbled on Let Them Eat Cake, a British kids clothing line based in Bath. Felicity Lynch is the designer behind the line, and uses rare vintage fabrics and local materials to make the collection. Her inspiration comes from "Victorian circus posters and french styling". Everything in the collection is handmade by a talented group of seamstresses.
.
I must say I fell in love with Felicity's designs as soon as I saw them. While the line only is sized for kids 1-8...I wish they came in adult sizes. A girl can dream right? Head on over to the Let Them Eat Cake website and check out the collections. They really are dreamy.
.
See you guys on Friday.

A Handmade Wedding

Those of you that read Once Wed have probably already seen these pictures of this bride and groom that were featured today, but for those of you that haven't, I had to share! The bride made her own necklace and bouquet seen in the photos. And her mom? She made the amazing dress. What a beautiful way to incorporate your own style and creativity into a wedding. Amazing.
.
I would love to know how she made her necklace. Wouldn't you?
.
(Click on the pictures to see them larger)
.
Hope everyone had a great Wednesday. Here's to expressing ourselves.

Hello everyone-- can you believe it is only Tuesday? This week has been dragging on for me already. We had a pretty good weekend... for those that were curious, Leap Year was soooo good! I loved the story, the characters, everything. Plus, nothing sleazy or dirty in it. Perfect for a Friday night.
.
Looking for some visual goodies? Travel on over to Erica Shires Photography-- she has beautiful pictures and some flash movies to peruse through. Have a good afternoon!
