I hope everyone had a good weekend. Mine was filled with birthday celebrations and homework.

On another note, can I just say how much my love for J.Crew grows every time I receive their catalogues in the mail? I love the Spring magazine they just came out with. It is filled with all things spring and I cannot wait for the arrival of warmer weather so I can wear all these fabulous looks.

Flower Power

I hope everyone is having a good week. The end of the semester is coming ever near, and with that all my papers and assignments are soon to be due. I have been busy this week, trying to catch up on everything, so I apologize for the quick and sporadic posts.

First off, I am celebrating. We have officially hit the 100 mark of those following our blog, and Melissa and I could not be more excited. So thank you to everyone that follows our little blog. It is nice to know that people actually read and enjoy the things we are inspired by.

She and Him

Zooey Deschanel and Matt Ward, are the creative souls behind, She and Him. Begun in 2008, their first album, Volume One, received widespread attention and popularity. (Zooey writes and Matt produces) Their second album, Volume Two, is set to be released, tomorrow March 23rd. (What a way to celebrate my (and Melissa's) birthday!)

Hello everybody! I am back from sunny L.A.-- too bad the weather here isn't as nice, but it is actually not that bad. My illustration department went on a field trip and we visited lots of artists, museums, and entertainment studios. And who could go to California without going to Disneyland? Hollywood Tower of Terror is one of my favorite rides. The only thing bad about missing school was getting behind on all of my homework, so hopefully I will catch up this weekend.

I heart J.Crew

I just wanted to check in really fast before my weekend officially began and to apologize for the light posting this week. My computer broke and I had to send it to the repair shop (a.k.a. My brother - Thank you, Thank you!). On top of that I am getting a cold. Yuck!

Hopefully I will be back next week feeling better and ready for a new week! Right now I am going to cozy up in bed and go make my official wish list from all the new arrivals at J.Crew.

Love at First Sight

Today I stumbled upon the wedding of Eunice and Daniel that was featured on Martha Stewart's website. All the details that were put into this wedding were remarkable. I especially loved the tent, filled with twinkle lights and hand dyed coffee filters made into pom poms. It seems like it would have been a fun event to attend.

Muse Worthy

Having recieved my issue of the March 2010 J.Crew magazine, and I must say I love their focus on everyday women that inspire them. One of those women, is Molly, a J.Crew wedding collection designer and jewelry designer. She is sporting her own one-of-a-kind, handmade necklace above and I must say I fell in love with it. Isn't it fabulous?

Faded Grandeur

The brains behind, Lizzie Fortunato Jewels, Elizabeth and Kathryn, have just released their Spring/Summer 2010 line titled "Faded Grandeur". They define this new collection as:

"The Spring/Summer 2010 collection draws inspiration from a voyage to India and the fabrics and relics found there. Titled "Faded Grandeur" it's the story of discovering an abandoned Indian palace where evidence of a grand party - a torn gown, a half-empty glass, or a single earring - remain. I have been following their work for a while now, and must say that I love this new collection...especially the "Faded Grandeur necklace" and "Grey Gardens headband" featured above.
